Application Process Steps

To enroll into a course as a student at Sydney Met, applicants must complete a Student Application Form available from the website. The form should be completed in full and submitted by email to: admissions@sydneymet.edu.au

A simplified application and study process is illustrated below:

Step 1

Explore courses at Sydney Met and check requirements.

Step 2

Submit a student application form with supporting documents.

Step 3

Receive offer of letter and letter of acceptance.

Step 4

Accept Offer Letter, sign Student Agreement Form & submit payment receipt.

Step 5

Receive eCOE & apply Visa.

The first stage of application is to know about us and what you want to study and decide whether our course and services are the right fit for you. This means exploring this website, finding out your eligibility, course entry requirements, credit possibilities, and documentation required.

As you complete the form, please read carefully, complete all fields and attach all required documentation. Copies of the transcripts must be certified as true copy.

The Sydney Met admissions team will email you to confirm receipt of your application.

Sydney Met admissions team will assess your application. If more information or documents are needed, we will contact you. You will receive either a Letter of Offer (sometimes with conditions), or a letter declining your application.

Onshore Students

Once you have been sent an offer, you will have four weeks to accept and pay the first installment of fees. On accepting the offer students must pay the first payment as listed in the Course Fees Breakdown in the Letter of Offer, which includes:

  • Enrolment fee (non-refundable)
  • First installment of tuition fees, and
  • Materials and any other fees as applicable A confirmation of placement will be emailed back to the applicant.

At this point, applicants are welcome to apply for Credit or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) if applicable. Alternatively, applicants may defer their offer to start their studies in a later Term. Fees, Charges and Refund Policies are included in the offer letters and can also be viewed on the College website.

Offshore International Students
