The EM is led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President. The CEO is appointed by the GC, subject to the endorsement by the BoD. It reports to the GC. One individual comprises the role of CEO and President – they are not separate. Both the GC and AB may delegate certain corporate or academic matters to the CEO. The CEO is also responsible for creating, maintaining and ensuring the efficient running of the Office of the Secretariate (OOS).

Sydney Met campus is located on the unceded territory of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation who are the traditional owners of the lands where the campus is situated. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We extend that respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Indigenous peoples from overseas presently studying, working, or contributing to Sydney Met.
