Through a diverse range of service projects and volunteer opportunities, Sydney Met encourages students, faculty, and staff to participate in activities that make a tangible difference in the lives of others. Whether it’s organizing community clean-up events, participating in environmental conservation efforts, or supporting marginalized populations, our community engagement initiatives aim to instill a sense of social responsibility and civic engagement among our community members.
Sydney Met campus is located on the unceded territory of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation who are the traditional owners of the lands where the campus is situated. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We extend that respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Indigenous peoples from overseas presently studying, working, or contributing to Sydney Met.
